This section features opportunities that may be of specific interest to people who have a criminal record.

It includes:

  1. paid jobs
  2. volunteering roles, and
  3. other opportunities

Some of these will be featured because organisations have got in touch and asked us to include them, whilst others are ones that we’ve become aware of during the course of our work. The common theme is that they are specific opportunities that are specifically looking to reach people with criminal records. Some of the opportunities will be with organisations that may be well known for recruiting people with a criminal record; others may surprise you.

Got a suggestion for this page? If you know of an opportunity that should be included here, let us know. Organisations looking to raise awareness of specific opportunities might also want to consider proactively advertising opportunities through theRecord.

Need advice? If you need any advice about disclosing your criminal record before applying, have a look at the disclosure information on our InformationHub or contact our helpline.

If you apply for any of the opportunities listed, let us know how you get on.
